Unique From The Start
Godfrey Marine broke onto the world stage at the 1958 World’s Fair in Chicago. They introduced the Sanpan® pontoon, the first pontoon ever made entirely from aluminum! This breakthrough in construction and comfort featured upholstered seating, pressure-treated decks, convertible canvas canopies, and enclosed outboard motor compartments. From the start, Godfrey® pontoons were innovative and unique, and the company soon acquired AquaPatio®. Both of these model lines remain immensely popular today.
